Blessed is our God, always now and ever and unto ages of ages! Amen.
Glory to you, our God, glory to you.
O heavenly King, Comforter, the Spirit of truth, everywhere present and filling all things; Treasury of good things and Giver of life: Come and abide in us and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O good one.
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal: have mercy on us. (3x)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
O, Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our transgressions. Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for your Name’s sake.
Lord, have mercy. (3x)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Our Father, in heaven, hallowed be your Name; your kingdom come; your will be done on earth, as in heaven. Give us this day the bread of Life; and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us; save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, are yours: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Lord, have mercy. (12x)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Come, let us worship God, our King, and bow down before him.
Come, let us worship Christ God, our King, and bow down before him.
Come, let us worship Christ, our King and our God, and bow down before him.
Psalm 5
My words, O Lord: Hear them! Give heed to my sighs, attend to my cry for help, O my king and my God! It is you I beg, O Lord: in the morning you hear me; in the morning I offer you my prayer; I prepare myself and wait for you.
For you are not a God pleased by wickedness, the sinner is not your guest; no, the arrogant dare not face you. You hate all evildoers; you make liars perish. The Lord detests the man of blood and deceit.
As for me, because of your great love, I draw near to your house; toward your holy temple I fall in worship, filled with reverence for you, O Lord. Lead me into the land of life and prosperity, for my enemies are on the watch for me; make your path straight before me.
For there is not a word of truth in their mouths; in their hearts there is nothing but ruin; their throats are yawning graves, their tongues smooth as honey. Let all the world see their guilt, O God! Let them perish in their intrigues; for their crimes without number, chase them out, for rebelling against you.
But joy for all who seek your refuge, songs of gladness forever! Since you protect them, they exult in you, those who love your name, You bless the just, O Lord; as a shield your favor covers them.
Psalm 90 (89)
Lord, you have been our refuge throughout the ages! Before the mountains were born, before the earth or the world were brought forth, you are God, without beginning or end.
Do not turn men back into dust, saying: Go back, sons of Adam! For a thousand years are but a day in your sight, like yesterday, come and gone, no more than a watch in the night.
You sweep them away like a dream in the night; they are like grass: In the morning it springs up and flowers; by evening it withers and fades.
So your anger consumes us; your wrath terrifies us. You lay bare our guilt in plain sight before you, our secrets, in the light of your face. In view of your anger our days pass away; our years are no more than a sigh.
Our lives span seventy years, or eighty for those who are strong. And most of these are emptiness and pain, for they go by quickly and we are gone. Who can understand the power of your anger; who can understand your just and rightful indignation?
Make us know the shortness of our days, that we may reach some wisdom of heart. Lord, relent! Must your anger last forever? Take pity on your servants. Each morning fill us with your love, that we may jump for joy and gladness all our lives.
Give us joy; balance our affliction for the years we knew misfortune! Show forth your work to your servants; let your glory shine on their children! Let your favor rest on us, Lord, and give success to the work of our hands; yes, give success to the work of our hands!
Psalm 101 (100)
Your love and justice will I sing; to you, O Lord, will I sing a hymn of praise. I will celebrate the epic of your perfect rule.
When will you come to me? I walk about my home in innocence of heart; never do my eyes have time for what is mean and base. Making graven images is something I detest; it has no hold on me.
The perverse of heart are never near me; the evil man is not my friend. The man who slanders his neighbor in secret — I will cut him down. Proud looks and puffed up heart, these I cannot bear.
I will look to the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me. The man who walks the path of blamelessness, he may work in my service. There is no room in my house for one who practices deceit; the liar had better not stand where I can see him.
Morning after morning I will expel all the wicked of the land; I will banish every evildoer from the city of the Lord.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia. Glory to you, O God (x3 – with three prostrations).
Then one Kathisma of the Psalter with three prostrations after each Antiphon.
In the morning you hear me, my king and my God.
My words, O Lord: Hear them! Give heed to my sighs
In the morning you hear me, my king and my God.
It is you I beg, O Lord, I offer you my prayer
In the morning you hear me, my king and my God.
Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: Both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
What shall we call you, O Full of grace? Heaven? For you made the Sun of righteousness to dawn. Paradise? For you made the flower of incorruption blossom. Virgin? For you remained incorrupt. Pure Mother? For you held in your holy embrace a Son who is the God of all. Implore him that our souls may be saved.
Steady my steps as you promised; never let wrongdoing master me. (2x)
Deliver me from the slander of men, and I shall keep your commandments. (2x)
Smile with favor on your servant, and teach me to know your decrees. (2x)
My mouth is filled with your praise; I tell out your glory and your majesty throughout the day! (3x)
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal: have mercy on us. (3x)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday
With our hearts and lips, let us sing unceasing hymns to the most glorious Theotokos. She is holier than the holy andgels and, indeed, the Mother of God for she has truly given birth to the Incarnate God. Unceasing is her intercession for our souls!
Wednesday, Friday
In haste come to us, Christ our God, before we fall as slaves to those who blaspheme against you and threaten our lives. Only Lover of Humankind defend us with your cross and strengthen our faith, through the intercessions of the Theotokos.
Saturday
O Lord, Creator of the World, who orders all things, he Universe offers to you the Gd-bearing martyrs as the firs fruits of creation. Through their prayers keep the church and our land in abiding peace, at the intercessions of the Theotokos, O most Merciful One!
Lord, have mercy (x40).
O good God, so very rich in patience and mercy, who are adored and praised at all times and at every moment in heaven and on earth! You love the just and spare the sinner, inviting all to salvation with the promise of the good things to come! O Lord, accept our prayer at this time, and direct our lives according to your commandments. Sanctify our souls and bodies. Set straight our reasoning, purify and sober our understanding, and deliver us from every affliction, from every evil and illness. Surround us with your holy angels as with a rampart, that, guided and protected by their defense, we may reach unity in faith and the knowledge of your inaccessible glory. For blessed are you unto ages of ages. Amen.
Lord, have mercy (x3).
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
You are more honourable than the cherubim, beyond compare more glorious than the seraphim! In Virginity you gave birth to God, the word: O you who are truly Theotokos, we extol you!
Priest: May God take pity on us and bless us, show the light of his countenance on us and have mercy on us.
O Lord and Master of my life, take from me the spirit of sloth, despair, lust for power and idle talk. (Prostration.)
But give rather the spirit of chastity, humility, patience and love to your servant. (Prostration.)
Yea, O Lord and King, grant me that I may see my own faults and not judge my brothers and sisters. Blessed are you unto ages of ages. Amen (Prostration.)
God be merciful to me, a sinner. (12x.)

Christ, the true light, who enlighten and hallow everyone who comes into the world, may the light of your countenance be signed upon us, that in it we may see your unapproachable light; and direct our steps to the doing of your commandments; at the intercessions of your most pure Mother and of all your Saints. Amen.
THIRD HOUR
Come, let us worship God, our King, and bow down before him.
Come, let us worship Christ God, our King, and bow down before him.
Come, let us worship Christ, our King and our God, and bow down before him.
Psalm 17 (16)
Listen, Lord, to what is just! Give ear to my cries! Lend an ear to my prayer, for my lips are free of deceit. Judge my cause, for your eyes discern truth.
Sound out my heart and visit me at night; try me, and you will find no wrong in me. For my mouth has not sinned as evil men are used to doing. The words of your lips I have kept. I have clung to the ways of your law, in your footsteps, lest my feet stumble.
Here I am, entreating you: Answer me, O God! Turn your ear to me and listen to my words. Show me your love, O saviour of outcasts; from those who rebel against you, keep me safe, as the apple of your eye. In the shadow of your wings, hide me from these godless ones who hound me.
My foes breathe heavily as they close in on me; self-satisfied in their abundance, their mouths speak proudly. They advance against me stealthily, hemming me in on all sides; they watch, ready to strike me to the ground; like lions are they, ready to claw, like the young lion, crouching in ambush.
Rise up, Lord! Confront them and strike them down! With your sword, rescue my soul from the wicked. Let your hand snatch me away from these men, from these men who receive their reward in this life.
As for your treasured ones, fill their bellies with your great wealth; gladden them with sons; allow them to leave their wealth to their children. My reward will be to see your face, on rising, to enjoy the sight of your glory.
Psalm 24
To you, O Lord, do I lift my soul! My God, in you I trust! Do not disappoint me, lest my enemies jeer at me. Do not disappoint any of those who look to you, but disappoint the treacherous in their schemes.
Make me know your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths. Guide me along the path of your truth, and teach me well, for you are the God of my salvation; it is you I look to at all times.
In your goodness, Lord, remember your mercy and your love, for they are as old as time itself. Do not remember the mistakes of my youth; but me, in your love remember me! In your kindness remember me, in keeping with your goodness, O Lord.
The Lord is upright and good; he points out his path to those who stray. He directs the humble along the path of justice; he teaches his way to the oppressed.
All the Lord’s ways are love and truth for those who keep their word and abide by his precepts. For your name’s sake, Lord, wash away my guilt, great as it is.
If a man reveres the Lord, he will show him the path to choose. His soul will enjoy prosperity, and his children will inherit the land.
The Lord’s friendship is for those who revere him; to them he reveals his covenant. My eyes are forever fixed on the Lord, for it is he who frees my feet from the snare.
Turn to me and pity me, lonely wretch that I am! Relieve the anguish of my heart; do away with my distress. Look upon my misery and pain; forgive me all my sins. See how many are my foes, how intense their hatred of me.
Protect me and save me; do not disappoint me, for you are my refuge. May innocence and righteousness protect me, for I trust in you, O Lord. Rescue Israel, O God, from all its troubles.
Psalm 51 (50)
Have mercy on me, O God, in your kindness; in your great tenderness, wipe out my sin. Over and over again, cleanse me of all malice; from my fault purify me.
For my sin is only too clear to me; my sin is ever before me. Against you, you alone, have I sinned; what is evil in your eyes, this I have done. You are just when you sentence, without reproach when you judge.
For in guilt itself was I born; a sinner my mother conceived. But you love truth at the heart of my being; teach me wisdom deep within me.
Purify me: I shall be cleaner than spring water; wash me: I shall be whiter than snow. Let me hear the sound of joy and feasting; let them dance, these bones you have crushed. Turn your face away from my sins; cleanse me of all malice.
O God, create in me a pure heart, in my belly, a new and constant spirit. Do not banish me from your presence; do not deprive me of your holy spirit.
Give me back the joy of your help; insure within me a spirit of fervor, that I may teach sinners your ways, that the misguided may return to you.
Rescue me from death, O God, my saving God, and my tongue shall ring out your justice! Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall proclaim your praise.
For you take no delight in sacrifice; were I to make a burnt offering, you would want no part of it. The best sacrifice, a broken spirit; a heart broken and crushed you have never disdained, O God.
In your kindness, be good to Sion: Rebuild Jerusalem within its walls! Then you will delight in just sacrifices — burnt offerings completely consumed! — then will they lay calves upon your altar!
Glory to the Father and to the Son and to the holy Spirit. Both now and for ever, and to the ages of ages. Amen.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia. Glory to you, O God (x3 – with three prostrations).
Then one Kathisma of the Psalter with three prostrations after each Antiphon.
Lord, who at the third hour sent down your all-holy Spirit on your Apostles, do not take him from us, O Good One, but renew him in us who pray to you.
And as we repeat it we make a prostration to the ground, and likewise at the following two Verses.
Create a clean heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
Lord, who at the third hour sent down your all-holy Spirit on your Apostles, do not take him from us, O Good One, but renew him in us who pray to you.
Do not cast me from your presence, do not take your Holy Spirit from me.
Lord, who at the third hour sent down your all-holy Spirit on your Apostles, do not take him from us, O Good One, but renew him in us who pray to you.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
A real vine, you are, O Theotokos, for from you there flowered forth the fruit of life. And because of this we entreat you, O Lady: with the apostles and all the saints, beg him to have mercy on us.
Blessed be the Lord God! Day after day he bears our burdens; God himself is our saviour: Blessed be God! God is for us a God who saves!
Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal: have mercy on us. (3x)
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Blessed are you, Christ our God, showing the fishermen to be most wise, by sending down upon them the Holy Spirit. Through them you have drawn the whole world into your net. O lover of humankind, glory to you.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit:
Give swift and stable comfort to your servants, O Jesus, in the weariness of our spirits; in afflictions do not part from our souls, in troubles do not go far from our minds, but be always before us. Come near us, come near us, you who are everywhere. As you were always with your Apostles, so, Merciful One, unite yourself to those who long for you, that united to you we may hymn and glorify your all-holy Spirit.
both now and for ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Immaculate Mother of God, you are the hope, protection and refuge of Christians, their unassailable wall, the untroubled harbour of the exhausted; but as you save the world by your unceasing intercession, remember us too, Virgin all-praised.
Lord, have mercy (x40).

O God and Master! Father almighty, only Son, and Holy Spirit! O unique power and divinity! Have mercy on me, a sinner, and in your omniscience, save me, your servant, unworthy as I am, for you are blessed unto ages of ages. Amen.
Through the prayers of our holy Fathers and Mothers, O Lord, Jesus Christ have mercy on us! Amen.
